Our goal at Community Caring Center with the hygiene corner is to have hygiene products readily available to our clients, so they don’t have to choose between food and cleanliness.
- Families are suffering just because the cost of things, in general, has got so expensive.
- Someone has lost their job and now has one or no income.
- There are also those who are completely homeless.
- Seniors living on social security, and the money just doesn’t stretch as far as it needs to.
These are just some of the situations why people come to us, and it doesn’t even scratch the surface.
Cost and finances are the largest challenges; we hope to help families by having all the items they need, whenever they need them.
Hygiene products are such a great expense, so we just don’t feel like anyone should have to do without those basics, like being able to wash their clothes, being able to wash their body, and their hair. For those struggling to afford the cost of feminine hygiene products, something to keep in mind is that it’s not a luxury-it’s a necessity. Another huge cost for many people is not just a “cost” but a necessity for adult diapers.
We are hoping to have the Azle community involved. We can start to build stock, so we don’t run out so quickly. Usually, when we have stock – it runs out that week!
Having these products on hand will help to alleviate some of the financial burdens many are feeling. As a community, we hope you can help us meet this need.
