Jessica Brace

Vice President

Jessica Brace is an essential figure in the Azle Community Center, proudly serving as both Vice President and a dedicated Board Member. Her inspiring journey towards community service and leadership underscores her unwavering commitment to positively impacting her hometown.

Born in Amarillo, Texas, Jessica’s family moved to Azle when she was just a year old. Her parents saw Azle as a beautiful community close to Fort Worth, providing a great environment for her upbringing. After a brief stint away, she returned to Azle at 23, establishing Brace Chiropractic and Wellness Center, LLC, serving the community for over 20 years.

Throughout her time in Azle, Jessica actively engaged in various philanthropic initiatives, but she temporarily stepped back from these commitments after giving birth to twin daughters in 2009. However, a realization struck her one day while driving down Main Street. She felt a calling to re-engage with her community, sensing that her town needed her presence again.

This pivotal moment led Jessica to join the board of the Community Caring Center following an invitation from Mark Laudenheimer, the manager of Brookshire’s grocery store. Jessica recognized Azle’s diverse demographic and the prevalent issue of hunger. Her deep local connections and unwavering dedication made her the ideal candidate to lead the Center toward a brighter future.

Since joining the board, Jessica has witnessed the Community Caring Center evolve and adapt to changing times. She played a pivotal role in diversifying the board’s composition, fostering greater inclusivity, and expanding the center’s reach to a broader audience.

Jessica’s vision for the Community Caring Center includes increasing awareness of its presence and services. She envisions a more accessible and accommodating approach to food distribution, reducing waste and ensuring every resource serves its purpose.

Jessica’s message to those considering involvement with the Community Caring Center emphasizes the sense of community and camaraderie that volunteering offers. Whether volunteering at the food bank, The Porch, or sorting clothes, the center provides a platform for like-minded individuals to unite and create positive change.

In a world where inflation and socioeconomic disparities persist, Jessica recognizes the Center’s importance in addressing the diverse needs of Azle’s population. She is a beacon of hope and leadership, determined to guide the center toward an even more impactful and inclusive future.

Join Jessica Brace and the Azle Community Center in their mission to create a more compassionate and supportive Azle where no neighbor goes hungry and every community member has the opportunity to thrive. Together, we can build a brighter future for our town.
