Naconya Shanahan
Resale Operations Coordinator
Naconya Shanahan serves as the F-22 Chief Engineer Director and is currently also supporting the F-16 Chief Engineer Director role within the Engineering and Technology organization at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas. In these positions, she provides technical leadership and oversight for engineering activities across both programs, ensuring the highest standards of safety, airworthiness, and performance.
With extensive experience in aerospace engineering and engineering program management, Naconya has led multidisciplinary teams responsible for complex aircraft systems and has served as a key liaison to government partners. Her career includes prior leadership as Director of Aviation Safety and Airworthiness, supporting major programs such as the F-35, F-22, and C-130, and reflects a deep commitment to program performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
In addition to her professional work, Naconya is actively engaged in her faith and local community. She previously served on the worship team at McKinney Bible Church (now Doxology Bible Church) and continues to participate in church volunteer efforts and outreach initiatives.
Naconya holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and is currently pursuing a master’s degree through the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with expected completion in December 2026.
She resides in Fort Worth, Texas, with her husband, Curt, and enjoys hiking, scrapbooking, and traveling. Their son is a graduate of Texas A&M University and is beginning his engineering career in Houston.
